Description
The Original Shellplate Bearing Kit for Dillon XL750 by Hit Factor Shooting Supply, LLCAlso fits the Dillon XL 650.
This kit reduces the snap when the shellplate advances to the next position. When the shellplate snaps, gunpowder splashes out of the casing causing a mess on your press and inconsistent loads. You will experience more consistent primer seating and cartridge overall length (C.O.L.) The overall operation of your press will be smoother.
This kit consist of two high quality hardened steel thrust races, one needle bearing, one low mass detent ball, and one reduced power spring. The bearing pack installs on the shellplate bolt. This will not affect the depth of seating of primers or require die adjustments.
Here is a video showing the XL750 with our bearing kits, only the shellplate kit is included with this listing.

Our bearing kits were featured in the Nov/Dec 2011 issue of
Front Sight
magazine.
This kit includes our Low Mass Detent Ball (LMDB) for the Dillon XL 650, XL 750, and it's tough as nails.
The LMDB and reduced power spring is custom made to our specifications, these are not off the shelf items.
This ball is super hard, smooth and lightweight. It's approximately 7 times lighter than the factory steel ball and every bit as tough. The low mass detent ball and reduced power spring has less momentum when it locks up with the shellplate. The material also absorbs vibrations much better than the steel ball. This detent ball is highly abrasion resistant and will not be cut or scarred by the shellplate. These are industrial grade and used when strength and abrasion resistance is required. No modifications are required to run this low mass ball on your press.
