Here is the great set of 6 different issues of PLAYBILL for six different BROADWAY plays from the 1940's and 1950's. The Playbills in this set, along with the play for each, the actors, the date and the theater are: 1) THREE TO MAKE READY (starring RAY BOLGER, GORDON MacRAE and ARTHUR GODFREY), April 29, 1946, the ADELPHI THEATRE, 2) KISS ME KATE (starring ANNE JEFFREYS), October 30, 1950, the SAM S. SHUBERT THEATRE, 3) WONDERFUL TOWN (starring ROSALIND RUSSELL), June 15, 1953, the WINTER GARDEN, 4) INHERIT THE WIND (starring PAUL MUNI and ED BEGLEY), December 24, 1956, the NATIONAL THEATRE, 5) MAJOR BARBARA (starring CHARLES LAUGHTON, BURGESS MEREDITH, GLYNIS JOHNS and ELI WALLACH), December 24, 1956, the MOROSCO THEATRE and 6) MY FAIR LADY (starring REX HARRISON, JULIE ANDREWS and STANLEY HOLLOWAY), June 24, 1957, the MARK HELLINGER THEATRE.  All six Playbills are in very good condition, with still tight binding. There is some small writing (the date of the play) written in the corners of some Playbills, some light creasing, some aging to the pages of some pages, some small "clean" tears and the cover of Playbill six has some wrinkling to the cover. Overall, a very nice set of classic Playbills. A true classic for the Playbill collector.
