    Description

    This Playbill is from the original Broadway production of "Look Back in Anger". This production ran from October 1, 1957 to September 20, 1958 for 407 performances. This Playbill dates from the week of October 28, 1957 and features the original cast. The play was nominated for three Tony Awards in 1958, including Best Play, Best Actress in a Play (Mary Ure) and Best Costume Design.
    As with all playbills, this one features neat old vintage ads. Several ads feature restaurants and nightclubs throughout Manhattan. Several also feature entertainers, including Lena Horne and Martha Raye. Two of the ads feature famous actors, including a TWA ad with Tyrone Power and a Rheingold Beer ad with Kim Novak.
    Please note several of the pictures show a yellowing of pages. That is an artifact of the picture and any yellowing of the pages is very light.
