    1923 Clarkson Nebraska Fire Department 41st Convention North Platte NE Ribbon
    Gray ribbon reads “Clarkson / Vol. Fire Dept. / To The / N. S. V. F. A. / 41st Annual Convention / January 16-17-18, 1923 / North Platte / My I Dea / If firemen’s hose were made of silk / With women’s legs inside / I’d join the firemen for life / And the hose cart I would ride / Presented By / O. F. Sobeslavsky / Delegate”.  Grey ribbon measures approximately 1 7/8” across and 11 3/4” long.  Ribbon shows fraying, 3 pin holes, other imperfections, and soiling.  Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighter’s Association.  See pictures.
